Our core and edge routers connected to each other by means of (multiple) 10 gigabit ethernet wavelenghts or direct fiber optic connections.
We have opted for the Tier-1 network carriers carefully to complement each other and ensure adequate performance in case of problems.
Also we are connected to the "big three" - these are the three largest Internet exchanges in the world: AMS-IX in Amsterdam, DE-CIX in Frankfurt and LINX in London. Other Internet exchanges in Europe have been carefully chosen to optimize network connectivity. This results in the highest bandwidth and lowest latency.
We defend a policy of ever-more than double the capacity of the Internet than is used by our customers who currently around 240Gbit / s.
So we now have a total external network capacity of more than 500Gbit / s and our internal network has a capacity of more than 1 terabit communications / s.
Our extensive network monitoring 24h/365d allows us to proactively respond to and prevent network problems before they appear. We monitor the networks of our suppliers to always provide our customers with the best available network path to all destinations.
